    To many pinkies??
So I was at my local pet shop earlier today and I mentioned a male Kenyan sand boa that used to be there and an employee said they bought it. It was supposedly 6 months old at the time and that was at least 3-4 months ago. Anyway, I asked if he was eating good and everything because of how some males can be. And she said he eats great, 3 pinkies each feeding. Does that sound strange to anybody. Shouldn't he be eating 1 larger meal instead?

    Doesn't sound right to me.
I wonder why she is doing that.

Sometimes it’s to keep them from growing to fast, most people want babies.

He was pretty small 3 or 4 months ago but by now he should be on fuzzies at least right?

Probably - but it is far from unheard of for petstores to feed the "most economical" meals.

The snake would be better off with a more nutrient rich diet than pinkies in all likely hood. You would have to see the animal up close to determine which size is most appropriate though.
