Humidity to high: Where to bore the holes?

First off what are the repercussions of having your humidity to high (80-90% range)? I've read to just bore holes into the enclosure. My 2nd question is where do I bore them? The top of the enclosure? Sides? The enclosure is a "Gecko Junkie" from repticon recommended by the breeder. Its completely closed on all sides with 1 ~2inch ventilation holes covered by screen on each side. Substrate is newpaper, and I just reduced the size of the water bowl (she can still fit in it though) but i doubt thats goign to be 30%.

Have you tried using a fan? Moving the air will help.

I have one cage that is very tight. I put holes along the top back and also have a fan in my room that keeps the humidity stable.

I like to add ventilation holes low on the cool side, and high on the warm side, as that seems to create a nice flow of air through the enclosure. If all of the holes are low then the warm air never gets exchanged, and if they are all high then the cool air stays in the bottom of the enclosure.

Ok after using a fan, and lowering the water bowl size (she can still fit in it) I got the humidity to stabilize at 70%. Would yall still recommend boring a few holes?
