Does anyone have experience moving their python from Canada to the UK?
I've been doing research online and have some bits and pieces. E.g. I've found an import application form on gov.uk but it looks like it might not apply to personal pets. & as I understand some airlines allow passengers to bring their pets into the cabin, but London prohibits bringing pets in at all a couple airports. I'm ... still trying to wrap my mind around it.

I was wondering if anyone had personal experience doing this and how was that experience? / anything I should look out for?

I also wanted to ask - should I even do this? Is it safe? Or should I rehome her? (as my heart breaks)

    Thank you! x

Snakes need to be shipped and all the paperwork such as vet health certificate and C.I.T.E.S must be in order.

Between the paperwork and shipping you are looking at about $1000

The first step is to find a breeder that does export and can ship your animal.

Trust me cites appendix 2 applies. :(

ETA: I would ask a breeder with export expeience ( like marcus jayne ) or a uk importer ( like crystal palace reptiles ) to advise you on the costs and problems and see if either one could give avice or help.
