    Enclosure okay?
So Damian recently got back from vet.. he has a very mild RI and I believe it was from too high humidity. In his rack the humidity was constantly around 70% even on paper towels. I have his T10 set up and am able to control humidity much easier. He is around 350 grams, so still very small, but I’d like to move him over if possible.

Inside the T10 I have three hides each on warm and cool side.. I rigged the big hides shown down to fit him better so all hides are secure.. I have added branches and fake plants to break up the space. I was told he would be fine as long as it stayed cluttered. What do you guys think?

Annnnd, I posted this under the amphibian section on accident. I dont know if a moderator could move it to the correct location BP Husbandry. Im not sure how I managed to do this...

They don't get RI just from high humidity in itself. RI is caused by poor ventilation and an unsanitary environment, other improper husbandry or prolonged stress. Or from another snake, since it's contagious.

Just make sure the vet does a culture to make sure it's correctly treated!

I personally would move the snake to a quarantine tub instead of moving him over to the T10, which is just another potential source of stress for such a small snake.

You did a good job making that enclosure cluttered for his security. That will be perfect. Ive never used Tubs or any small tanks for my snakes and as long as they have a hide and proper temps they will be fine. My hatchlings all grew up in T12’s and are great Balls without any nervous or stress issues. Make sure to let him be for awhile. If you see him at night near the glass slide it open and offer him to come out... if he is staying in his hide at night give hime a while to loosen up. Glad you got things headed in the right direction [emoji1360][emoji1360][emoji216]
