    Nose Rubbing?
Came home to find my 2 month old ball phone practically scraping his nose on the top of the screen of his terrarium. To make things worse, it was right under the lamp too. I finally put in the new humidity gauge and it was at 43%!
I took him out and looked at him, and now, he has a scab on his nose with a loose, little piece of skin sticking out. Will he be okay??

Should heal ok...you can use a little dab (spread thinly) of Neosporin ointment (NOT the kind with pain relief, only the regular formula). Re-apply daily for
a few days until it seems to be healing ok. Might leave a little scar, but that's life...as long as no infection. Make sure the Neosporin doesn't block his nostrils-
might be easier to apply with a Q-tip.

Try to figure out why he's rubbing: if he wants out, you have to play detective & figure out what's wrong...too hot? too cold? doesn't feel secure in the
    hides? hungry? cage too small?

Certainly will do. I'll try using that towel trick too, to keep up humidity. I'll see if there's anything else that could be wrong.

    Thank you!

    Nose Rubbing?
Rubbing their face sometimes is just them trying to get the shed skin off as a starting place ...

    It's a badly worded explanation but I know what I mean :)

His stomach has been turning pink. He's been going to the same spots to do this too. Hopefully I see his solution working soon XD

Pink tummy ties in with shedding ... sounds like it could be simply trying to loosen the skin around its face /head ..

I'd start spraying the viv / rub two or three times daily until you find the shedded skin ... usually in a messy rolled up ball under a hide ..

Yeah, I've been misting more than I usually do. I've been needing to keep the humidity raised. I saw that putting a damp towel over the top helps keep it up, is this true?
His skin is dull and he looks kind of rainbow-ish from it. Thanks for the heads up on where the shed might be!

No worries .. it could take another 5 to 7 days before it actually comes off ;)

A damp towel over a mesh topped tank / viv does help .. some just stick a piece of plastic/ perspex over the top and seal the outsides with tape .... great for keeping the humidity up after you spray.

Wonderful! I'll certainly try it out as soon as I get home.
