    What's your occupation/job?
Might as well share where you sometimes go off to when you're away from your reptile friend XD Knowing a lot of you users range from being in your 20s-30s, I'm kind of curious to know what you guys actually work as.

Also, do you love or hate your job? Why?

At 41 I am a little outside the range given. My primary job is in public safety. 22 years in 12 as a captain. My side business is designing cooling systems for diesel trucks. Love both jobs.

Wow, that sounds incredible! Believe it or not, your jobs actually sound quite interesting and worth working for:rolleyes: I bet you're living a good life right now, especially when you're working two jobs that you love:D I hope you remain happy with them both!

I'm pretty new here but figured I would share a bit about myself...
I'm 28 and work with my brother and dad (small family business). We install/repair septic systems and work on water wells. Because of the type of work I spend a lot of time outside and on tractors (excavators and tracked loaders) which lets me find lots of snakes/insects and other interesting things. It's not for everyone but I enjoy my job.

It can be fun but it depends on what has to be done, it can just be hard work sometimes. Working with family is nice... but you know how family can be.

I worked for my dad when I was a kid. He had me do all the stuff he did not feel right asking his employees to do.

30 years as an IT professional with most of it in application development (I hate the network/admin/security side of things).

My husband and I also have a small business where he works from home as a gunsmith and I deal with the paperwork, invoicing, bookkeeping, taxes, etc.

    Aged 60 !!

Just started my 25th year working with autistic and Asperger teenagers .. helping them get through the trauma of high school life ...

I sometimes feel a bit of a cheat as I'm Aspergers myself and in a way it makes the job so much easier ... although on the other hand being an 'aspie' also makes some aspects of my role so much harder of course ....

I’m also over the assumed age range at 47. ;) I work for an insurance broker, my department specializes in high risk homes - coastal properties, older homes, rental properties, etc. Basically I stare at a computer screen and talk on the phone for 8-10 hours per day. :weirdface
