Normal weight for a year old female ball python?

In your experierience, what’s a normal weight for a female bp that just turned one year old (this month). Just curious. (Please don’t answer if you power feed because that’s not normal.) Thanks.

My problem child is a fussy eater, so she's a bit on the smaller side. She's 320 grams. Her hatch date was June 19th, 2017.

No hatch dates on my others, so I wouldn't be able to give you an exact age, but she's coming up on a year. She was very small, probably 2 months old maybe then 3 months of food refusals and being assist fed pinkies to try and jump start her before I took her. She's a monster over food now and she's up at 296 grams now. My guesstimate is she was born at the end of October 2017.

I honestly think mine are both on the smaller side for yearnings. It seems most averages are around 500g from what I see others post for snakes that have been feeding regularly and without issues. Or heavier if being powered

Can be anywhere between 300 grams to 1200 grams, size out of the egg, genetics, fast, and feeding all play a role.

What is important is not the number it's the overall health and body proportion.....they all grow at a different rate.

Weight isn't as important as you knowing your snake is healthy and in good body condition. Which is why mine are on the small side by weight standards for thier age. They are otherwise in good body condition. Not thin or malnourished.
I've only been monitoring weights on my snakes this year because they all have different issues where having a good weight helps.

Snakes will all grow at different rates and such, but as long as you have a good body condition, all is well. If your snake is visually thin, then that needs to be corrected.

I was asking because my female pied is 1400 grams. I DO NOT powerfeed. I honestly feed on the smaller side and once a week. She just got to medium rats. She’s about a year old now and I think it’s crazy that she’s so big. She’s not fat by any means. Her weight fits her length. She’s a great eater and eats every week (since I got her pretty much). Her food doesn’t even usually leave a bulge in her body.

As I mentioned in a thread yesterday, I have a Brother/Sister Carpet pair. The female was 1/2 the size of the male from 2 years old until 4. They both had identical food offerings, but the female would only eat 1/2 of what the male did. Then 2 years later the female just couldn’t get enough to eat this past year. Now she is the same length as her brother but without his girth.

As Deborah said, food intake and genetics are key.

I second everything that's been said above! Lots of good info. However, I have a female bp that just turned a year this month and I've been researching the same thing, just out of sheer curiosity to be honest to see if there's some sort of average, I know they all grow at different rates. Mine is ~750 grams...you've definitely got a big girl on your hands!!
