A little worried about my Burger (ball python)
So tonight I was holding my boy, and he was stretched out and calm. But he wasn't flicking his tongue just laying on my arm and hand. I'm a little worried as the last couple times I had him out he was a curious little guy. I don't know how old he is as I adopted him about a week ago.(I'd say hes about 2.5 feet) He got used to me and his new home oober quickly, and I know this because I offered him food and he took it no issue. When I put him back in his enclosure he hides in his hides. I know the rule of thumb is "Hiding ball python is a happy ball python" but the fact he didn't seem curious tonight makes me a little worried. Is this behavior normal for older snakes, am I over thinking?

I do know that my husbandry seems good as again he hides and regulates his own temp. Just cant help but think I might be missing something?

    You're overthinking it.

If he's eating and the husbandry is good, take a deep breath and enjoy hanging out with your BP.
