Yeah I had my gf stop on the way home yesterday and I told her to get a rat pup and she brings me a ft pinkie so I fed it to her and I’m gonna try to re feed her something a little bigger tom. She did take the ft pinkie no problem. That kind of surprised me none the less.

I think her temps are starting to even out as well I have my thermometer and hydrometer setting as close to my hot spot as possible and they rid about 55% and 87 degrees

Re: Why do the smallest ones
I think she’s hungry too, my litter of boas I had didn’t even start off on that it was small mice, a small or medium mouse sounds a lot more filling for her as long as it isn’t much thicker than the widest partway part of her body but at 20” should be fine
Good luck

Re: Why do the smallest ones
The pet shop I go to charges 5$ for a mouse no matter the size but diffrent sized rats are better priced so that was my reasoning behind it but she got me a pinkie that ended up being way to small

I’d give her another then, that sounds expensive even if I convert it to pounds a small mouse is 45p and 65p for a medium so I guess that’s approx a $1 ish , so big difference, a large rat is only £1.50 if I buy 5 or more at a time

Re: Why do the smallest ones
I gave her a mouse it’s definitely a feeding thing I think cause when I opened it she was good I gave her the mouse.. she ate it and now when I open her container it’s like a little devil hissing so loud you can hear it across the room and strikes at everything that moves even the lid when I put it back on. I was just checking the temp.... I was like my bad I’ll come back later haha ... anyone have any tips on how to get her over that. Not a fan of getting bitten every time I check her temps or something ... and she is gonna get way bigger...
