Pied BP. If you want to know more. Ask his parents.

LMFAO!! ask his parents...
just got off the phone with them ... they said he's "HHHHHIIIISSSSSSS":snake:
JK,JK... idk, but I know nothing about pied except it is a recessive morph, & i want in my collection ASAP!..
Unless the breeder has given you something to go off, if you’re unsure, maybe you can help me understand this, with recessive genes - in this case it being pied -high white taking up a lot of real-estate for ID purposes, will make this much harder to determine- wouldn’t you have to breed him to a normal to figure out his genes? or maybe an identified dominate morph get some hets while your at it?
or can someone say w/o a doubt that this guy is pastel? Fire? Mojave? YB? IDK?:confusd:
Whatever he may be he looks awesome... loving his big "H" on his back... Nice addition none the less :gj:

It would be pretty easy to tell if this snake had any other morphs. Some snakes, such as Pumpkin Pieds (Yellowbelly Pieds) have pixiling around the saddles that make them easier to identify. This guy is just a normal pied. The only snakes you would have to breed out to see what genes there are are 90% or higher white pieds (and this is only in some cases) or "White Weddings" which are all white pieds. I hope this helps! Of course it's possible he has hets which would need to be proven by breeding.

The only tricky gene to identify in Pied is Leopard, everything else is pretty easy even with high white animals.

I'm pretty sure a white wedding is the easiest pied to ID, unless you're talking about any tertiary morphs. A white wedding is a spider pied that has no markings (some do and some do not, like high white vs low white normal pieds). Spider pieds with markings are almost exclusively 95%+ white and typically only have pattern on their head as far as I've heard of. I've done some research on these as I love the all white snakes and coincidentally happen to have a pair of snakes that could produce these (0.1 pied, 1.0 spider het pied proven breeder), though I dont have any real plans to breed.
It would be hard to say if a white wedding also has something like pinstripe, I guess, but I don't really know if other genes would impact it at all or not.
I've not heard of any other combos that make all white pieds, though if you know of any proven ones, I'd love to hear which ones!

Re: What is he?
Lesser pieds are usually all white. There are a few more that express it that way but Im blanking on the morphs at the moment. My spied girl is pretty high white.

I've been to 7 or 8 expos recently and seen at least 1 white wedding at all of them and they were either not marked extra at a table that was pretty much entirely pied and spider combos or marked specifically as spider pied as well.

Re: What is he?
White weddings only refer to spieds. I don't know of a nickname for the lesser pieds.
