Retic sheding, One piece?
I would love to get a whole piece shed from Rainbow. Humidity upper 70s last shed cycle and time spent in the shower in the evenings about 45 to an hour at a time. She just rips it apart. None of it sticks but she just destroys it every time she sheds. Is her method not humidity that rips it apart. Should I sweat several pieces or more when shedding as long as it is not stuck. Or am I doing it wrong?
Monty gave me a full complete shed but his layers seam thicker.

I have tried a couple of times. I have been putting her in the tub with shower on once in blue almost daily and then try to help her once she starts. She just feels voluble during the process and grumps about it. Will just leave her alone next time.
Re: Retic sheding, One piece?
In my early research about ball pythons and snakes I came across some posts and articles that said that soaking a snake in shed can cause them to have a worse shed. Something about the water stripping their skins of the oil they use to separate the layers of shed resulting in worse sheds rather than better.
If you have the humidity where it should be during shed, maybe try one time without the soaking and see if it is any more in one piece?
I don't know a lot about retics, so not sure if it will make a difference or not.
