    Humidity Level for Dwarf Retic??
    Hello! I'm a long-time lurker, first-time poster, and I have a question.

I recently took in a youngish dwarf retic (he's approx. 2 years old and around 7 feet. The guy that gave him to me told me he was a pure Selayer, so he should be close-ish to full size) and I cannot for the life of me find any good information on how humid to keep his tank. He is currently in a 4'x2'x2' glass tank until around October when I get paid and can afford a nice PVC cage for him. His current temp/humidity levels are: hot spot 92, warm side 88, cool side 76, humidity 60%. Is this around right? He hasn't had any issues with shedding or eating or anything so far, but I'm a worrier, so I figured I'd ask!

Selayars seem to average 10’+ so at only 2 years old, and only 6’ long, he could easily double his length or more.

For humidity, 60% is a good low end humidity I would say. Retics seem to benefit from higher humidity, but it doesn’t matter as long as he’s shedding whole pieces. If he has a spotty shed, raise humidity. I’m not sure how long you’ve had him. If you’ve had him at least a couple months, he’s likely fine as is.

Ya if it a male an pure seleyer he'll get bigger that close to 10 ft.
I recommend using a bigger water bowl an put closer to heat source....
I personally use a 16qt tub filled halfway an spray every other day or so an my humidity ranges from 60-80%
