2 New Snakes courtesy of NARBC Arlington
Until today I've managed to miss the last few NARBC expos, so I finally got to go today and picked up 2 new snakes (names pending).
My goal for the day was to get a carpet python, and I definitely found a good one. A 2018 male coastal carpet python (37 grams) from Pythons in a Pear Tree.

The second one was one I just couldn't say no to once I had her out. A 2018 Female Pied from Constrictors Unlimited. She has 2 emoji markings, one of which is a big =O. And a teeny tiny (: on her tail.

Congratulations! That's a great looking coastal! Michael always has some awesome carpet pythons.

either way what a bute!!
She's just a pied as far as I know. The price for a YB pied would've been much more expensive I think especially for a female.. Most of their pieds looked to be pretty bright when they had the larger splotches of pattern like mine. The ones with smaller patterned spots seemed a bit darker.
Is there a way to tell yellowbelly in a pied?

Yb has that pixilating effect for sure I know that and usually just brighter all around. Also my pied has the same colors in his head as the rest of his body I know many pied will have a darker more Normal head with lighter patches

Probably not yellowbelly then. Her head markings look darker than the rest if them. About what I'd say is normal coloration.
