Should I be worried?
Imogen’s humidity was going down so I took her out to add some water to her substrate. I was looking at her and she still has some stuck shed. Is that why her skin is like this? It’s like wrinkly I guess. Should I worry? Is she underweight? Last night my mom caught her drinking water so I don’t think dehydrated. Hopefully y’all can tell what I’m talking about by the pics.

Re: Should I be worried?
you do not need to worry. yes, those dirty/wrinkly spots just look like old shed. be sure to maintain proper humidity and bump it when her next shed starts.

Ahhh, thank you, some relief. I find myself worrying so much about her. And okay, will do!

i remember my first [emoji849] hahaha, i tease; i was the same way.
it's better to worry than neglect! if i remember correctly, you had just received her this way right? let her relax and get a few meals, then we address the shed. [emoji4]

Yes, I just got her Wednesday. I just saw that and wanted to make sure it was nothing. Back to her hide she goes. 🙂

You'll want to make a humid hide for her than add water to substrate. The substrate shouldn't be wet, as that can cause scale rot.
If you keep her in a tank, cover up 95% of the screen top with foil. If you layer a wet towel between the foil and the screen top, it will also boost the humidity by a lot.

Ahhh, okay. Learned something new. I will make a humid hide soon. Need to look up how to make one. And I have most of it covered in foil tape, it’s only open where the CHE is.

sphagnum moss is your friend; you can find it at any pet shop.

:gj: Just soak it, then pour off the excess water (don't need to wring it out) and install it into the hide of your (& hopefully your snake's) choosing. If that hide
is over UTH, the moss will dry out sooner, but in the meantime the humidity inside that hide will be increased...snakes love a nice "steam room", especially when
they have stuck shed, or before a shed...and the moss makes it feel cozy too. Check the moss now & then, you can re-soak it & re-use it as long as they don't
use it for a "bathroom". ;)
