Why is every feeder company constantly out of their own inventory?
Well, I need to place an order for F/T medium and large rats....and like always Big Cheese is out of mediums and Perfect Prey is out of large.
I don't HATE Rodent Pro, but I don't love their packaging either. Would prefer to try someone else.
Anyone ever try "American Rodent Supply"?

Try out cold blooded cafe. Their shipping is a bit more expensive but their feeders are cheaper than most others.

Order placed with Coldbloodedcafe! Thanks buddy!
$30 flat rate shipping, everything in stock....and their mediums (ar least according to their own size standards)....run into the large territory from any other company.

Glad you got the order filled. Let us know how you like their feeders and packaging. I'm a Perfect Prey / Big Cheese guy but they do have shortages sometimes. It's nice to have another reliable supplier.

Nice! Their shipping was $40 when I ordered this summer. Everything was clean well packed, not vacuum sealed, but nicer packed than rodent pro by a wide margin. They also shipped very quickly when I ordered as well

I’m also glad to hear of another alternative with a good selection. I’ve used Rodent Pro for years because they consistently have the range of sizes I need and shipping is flat rate $29. However as others have said, their packing leaves something to be desired. Repackaging to vacuum seal can sometimes be like fitting puzzle pieces into a bag.
I’ve also used Layne Labs, but the shipping is only worth it on large orders. I’ve also had issues with them having large feeders for my boa and the Burmese I used to have. Years ago they used to lay out the rodents flat and vacuum seal, but my last order (4 months +/-) just came in heavy duty bags. Better packaged than RP, at least. On the plus side, there has always been a large chunk of dry ice left over on even the hottest summer days.

I've ordered from Reptilink and Cold Blooded Cafe - really liked Reptilinks packaging, both vacuum sealed and the outer insulated box. My Cold Blooded order showed up in a damp box that had more tape holding it together than it than when I wrap Christmas gifts. That being said, the feeders were still frozen and my snakes are smashing them without any issues. when I have to place the next order it'll be a toss up to who has what I need in stock but that shouldn't be for another 10-12 months anyway.
I would suggest a freezer just for your feeders so you can get a decent sized order and not have to order as often. Then you just prep a months worth of feeders in food saver bags and you're good to go when it comes to freshness and no freezer burn.
Please let us know your personal experience with your order.
Now - my buddy ordered from Rodent Pro and that was a nightmare - half mice/rats in the packaging, assorted parts, and the feeders reeked of urine - I'd never order from them.
