    Ditto
"Fun" times with my new bp
I'm sure this isn't a thing that's necessary to post, but I feel like sharing haha
My new BP escaped last night, and I was absolutely freaking out and made my whole family search for him with me in the middle of the night. After about an hour and a half I found him not a foot from his tank, curled up in an envelope that I hadn't even thought to check ha!
So that's the last time I leave the clips off his tank (and he now has extra security in the form of a heavy plant sitting on top of his tank)
That's all, folks! Nothing else to add, not quite sure why I'm even posting this, but thanks for reading! :D

Lol...they know! Boop had a little flap on her screen and she learned to turn the lock part and push it open. Heard her fall at 3am off my dresser. She is so bright I could see her laying on the floor looking at me like "whoa"! Ya, clips and taped the top so she can't get out anymore.

    Sigh...she isn't even a teenager yet!

Snakes have nothing better to do than figure out escapes...

Glad you found him so fast, Ditto! Some snakes can really travel, but for some reason most BPs that escape turn up very close to the cage they left.

Omg glad you found him so quick!

Honestly those clips are worthless for a growing ball python if they really want to escape, unless you get those really heavy duty clips. When I just had individual tubs, I ended up stacking books on top of them to make sure they can't escape LOL.

Yeah, I use & prefer glass tanks for my mostly-colubrid snakes, but I've never used, much less trusted, those clips they sell. I've found other ways to lock my cages
that are fool-proof (I used to keep hots & escapes were NOT an option!).
