    Accidendtly gave a hot bath.
So my girl is about 4 years old now. And after letting her roam outside a bit I decided to give her a bath. Unfortunately I didn't notice just how hot the water was.

It wasn't steaming hot or hot enough to cause a burn to a human. But still hot.

Regardless the moment I put her in she began to move quickly to get out. She was only in there for about 5 seconds before I took her out. I then cooled down the water and gave her a quick rinse.

She doesn't seem to be acting any differently but I'm wondering if it's possible for her to suffer injuries because of this?

Probably nothing went wrong in 5 seconds- just observe her closely for a couple days... But for future reference, hot to a human is extremely hot for a snake. If the water even feels "room temperature" to you when your hands are warm, it's already too warm to a snake. :(

I also wouldn't give baths needlessly, as it only causes stress. Baths should only be for other specific issues.

I thought you were talking about your little girl not a snake :)

.... you are talking about a snake aren't you. ...

Ok, just wondering if it could do any internal burns or something.
I don't give her baths too often but she was outside for a bit so just in case some bug got on her.

I'd guess that of all the critters out there then snakes are possibly one of the best ones to have dropped in :)

That's an easy mistake to make actually... remember we're roughly 98.6* so that's why our snakes feel cold to us even when they're at the right temperature
for them. And that's why the water didn't feel warm to you until it was much too warm for your snake. I'm glad you got him out quickly. That's also why many
of our snakes get restless about being held...especially in warm weather: we're too much heat for them & they have no way to communicate that other than
    trying to get away.
