    Oct Tinley
Who is going? Itll be my first time making the long drive but Im getting some stuff from a Canadian breeder and figured its cheaper than the shipping would have cost. Im already dreading getting what I paid for with my cheap hotel room [emoji21]. A few questions for those that have gone- Is the convention centers parking lot a mess to get in and out of like some are? Trying to plan if I should just Uber back and forth from my hotel or not. Is there any advantage to buying tickets in advance or do they always have more? And last, how crazy early do people get there Saturday morning to wait for it to open?
Hope to finally meet some people Ive been talking with online for years!

    me me me!!!

yes, the parking lot can be a mess but it's not too bad. good luck if you try to leave with everyone else; you'll be waiting for like 15 minutes at the light. i'd just take the Uber, so we can have a beer together!

the advantage to buying the tickets beforehand is you get to skip the line and walk right up to the table and give your name. also i think they only take cash at the door for tickets. and they always have more tickets.

people get there early! i try to get there an hour or so after they open so the line has died down and i can happily walk in. :)

i'll be rocking my BP.net fanny pack so be on the lookout for me!!! :D

Thanks for the tips! Ill just buy my tickets in advance then. Ill be bringing my mother since she got excited to learn people have aquatic stuff there and she keeps a massive koi pond. Not sure what I'll be wearing but I think everyone from here should try to plan a little meet up. Im just going early Saturday and then not sticking around long into the afternoon since I have a long drive home.

My husband and I are going! If you can at all swing the extra $50 ($55?) for VIP tickets where you can get in as early as 7:30 on Saturday, do it! Ignore me if those were the tickets already being discussed, lol. We went in March, and I couldn't believe how crowded it got. And I hear October is an even bigger show. We're planning on getting there around 7:30/8 on Saturday to miss most of the crowds. :)

I'll be there - my first trip. Unfortunately my nephew has a football game early Sat morning so I won't be there until later - but I'll have Friday and all day Sunday to explore.

Luckily my family lives 10 mins from the venue so I'm good on lodging. However, I'm spending $300 on a room in Wi earlier in the week to spend a day with Richard at Reptile Rapture and do some other things while in Madison LOL

Maybe see some of you guys/gals there.

The Sat before there's Scott Smith's All Animal EXPO in Wheaton, IL I'll be at as well.
