Morph ID help?
I recently went to a reptile expo and bought two new females from a reputable breeder. However after looking at more examples of the morphs that are supposed to be present, I've been wondering if they are fully correct.
This girl was listed as a banana butter pewter (cinnamon pastel)

Let me know what you guys think!

lol i'm not going to bet against Markus Jayne; you have nothing to worry about when buying from him. :gj:
both look to have correct IDs to me.
EDIT: welcome to the forum! if you have any questions about anything, please don't hesitate to ask!

I think that it's awesome you got two female bananas!
They look gorgeous and I would agree with the breeders identification. The variance in morphs can be pretty extreme at times (like dark vs light mojaves) and the color changes as these gals get older will be interesting to see.

Very nice, and definitely appear to be what they were sold as.

Thank you! From what I have heard and seen, Markus Jayne is quite reputable, I just like to get second opinions, lol!

Thank you! It was a total split second decision to get them, haha! I'm quite excited to see them grow up!

May be the angle and lighting of the picture but I dont see lesser in the second one, looks like a pastel banana with a ringer. Can you get a picture of her stretched out in natural lighting?
Markus Jayne is a very knowledgable, reputable breeder and while I'd normally be inclined to not question his ID I just really dont see it...
If someone showed me that picture and told me to guess, I'd say pastel banana calico. But I think better pictures are needed.

I can definitely try to get a couple tomorrow, it's a bit too dark out to get any right now. I should also be getting a message about the lineages soon since it was a bit too busy at the show.

Just a quick note, I noticed that she is going into shed soon as well, so it may be affecting her colours.

Re: Morph ID help?
Definitely not banana butter. The photos reinforce my idea that she is a banana pastel calico. You can see the pattern and color clearly despite the incoming shed.
Shes very pretty!
