My first snake! Male Champagne Ball Python
Hey guys! I've been wanting a snake for over 10 years, and I am happy to say that a little less than a week ago, I became the very happy owner of my very first baby ball python. He is a baby male Champagne ball python, that I suspect to be a month or two old. Prior to receiving him he was fed live. Today I tried to offer him his first frozen thawed meal, and after some trial and error, I got him to take it! (hair dryer is the key, I've learned). He is a super docile snake, hardly ever balls up, is usually always moving, and doesn't seem to be head shy at all. He also shows no sign of any wobble which I read that some champagnes could get (which I was worried about, but I was set on getting champagne for years).

I'm having trouble deciding on a name for him. Figured I'd pick some based on his color, but not sure.

    Here's what he looks like:

If you drink champagne name him after your favorite one [emoji23]
My last champagne was named unoroginally, as Champion or champ for short. He was nippy.

He’s a cutie!!!!! I just got a baby champagne Ball Python on Tuesday. He’s pretty dark for a champagne and has an orange head. I’m obsessed with Halloween so I wanted something fitting. I ended up naming him October bc orange just seems like an October color lol.

    Congrats on your new baby!!!
