Year Old Ball Python Sizes (comparisons)
I was wondering how big were your baby Boys and Girls once they turned a Year old. (in grams and inchs)
I myself have a 8 month old (female) normal who weighs in at 700 grams and 32 inches and im hoping for about 1000 grams and 3ft by the end of the Year!
(she was born December 15th 2017)
Edit: So how about yours? Cant wait to find out!

I have a picky Killer Queenbee who turned a year old in June.
She's only 225 grams. No accurate length however as she is VERY defensive as well.

I got her at 10 months and she took 2 weeks between meals and will only take smaller sized prey. I finally figured out her weird quirks tho. So hopefully she'll keep getting some size/weight on her.

Most of the girls I keep as breeders are well over 1000 grams at a year. Boys around 600. These animals come from big parents. I did breed some smaller animals this year. It is going to be interesting to see the difference in growth rates. I don't measure the length of my animals but I would guess that the girls are well over three feet at a year.

None of this really matters though unless you are intentionally chasing big animals. The yellowbelly stuff I am working with is pretty small compared to my bel complex stuff, but they are healthy. Just not genetically programmed to get large.

Female, Mojave pied, 912 grams, one year old.
Male, pastel, 1106 grams, one year and 4 months.

I feed one small rat per week for 3 weeks, and fast them every 4th week. They are both over 3 ft long. I don't have exact lengths.

I'm curious to hear why you go with this feeding schedule. Also what kind of results have you had? Do they eat consistently? Do they still go on random food strikes?
I see both snakes are still young, but I'm interested in learning more about your feeding schedule.
    Thank you in advance.

My boy Vega turns 1 on September 15th.
    He's currently 640 grams empty.

Last length I have for him is 33 inches from June, so I would guess he is around 3 foot even by now, or somewhere around that, I'd have to measure him again.
