    Finally set up our BoaMaster!
So this 4x2 BoaMaster has been sitting on our coffee table for weeks, and we finally set it up! I kept going back and forth on the heat panel and then forgetting I needed to order one so it took a while, LOL.

My husband set it up and it was pretty straightforward. Sealed the seams with silicone and added two LED puck lights. I've read mixed reviews on BoaMaster but had a pretty good experience except for the wait time. Took a couple of months to get it instead of the 2-3 weeks we were expecting. I'm not the biggest fan of it being PVC foam board, so we may go with a different manufacturer for the next one, we'll see.

I'll try to get better photos when there is better lighting. Clark, our first ever BP, ended up getting the upgrade. The humidity is still pretty high because of fresh cypress mulch. So far the RBI heat panel has been awesome. I can't wait to upgrade everyone. Nice enclosure. I'm sure Clark will enjoy the new digs. I like your shelving unit too. Where'd you find that?

Very nice, just curious, what’s with all the books?

On the second and third shelf, they appear to be “holding down the lids”. Take a closer look. Easier to see on an IPad.

When I had tanks I had to use heavy books to hold the lid down on those tanks that did not have locking tops. I heard a lot of negative things about the locking clips, so I never tried them.

With my tanks with large Carpets in them I had to add dumbbells on each corner. :) Yeah the books and weights don’t look good, but it was only temporary for me. I knew that I would be converting over to PVC’s.

Some where on here is a thread were I linked the good clips. Zoo Med heavy duty. I swear by them. Four per lid, you can literally lift the tank by the screen lid. Let me find the picture, I know amazon sells them for sure.
