    Home for rat fuzzies
Is there any DIY way to make a home for live rat fuzzies before I feed them to my BP? I just don't think setting up an entire rat cage for a few baby feeder rats should be necessary.

Are you talking about baby rats with eyes open or closed? And how long are you planning to "hold" them?

When it comes to rats you have in order the following, pink, fuzzy, pup, weaned, small, medium, large and XL

A rat fuzzy is by definition not weaned and will no live without it's mother.

A rat pup which is 2 weeks old and eyes open while still not weaned may survive but it will be hard.

Rats and mice are generally weaned and living on their own at 3 to 4 weeks.

So in other words if you have a fuzzy left over, it's freezer material

I meant rat fuzzies. I will probably pick up a rat fuzzy and a couple of pinkies. Can I hand bottle feed them?

I doubt it, not with any success anyway. "Got [rat] milk?"
