6 hatchling babies on the way.
2 are from a different breeder and 4 from the other breeder only shed once and have not taken their first meal. These will be my first babies and I bought them before knowing they hadn't eaten. They will arrive on Tuesday this week. What should I look for and any tips on getting them to eat would be great. PS I feed live to my other 4 balls.

Soon as they arrive do this to a T https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...-hatchling-101

Getting unstarted animals is a HUGE gamble some may fail to thrive or develop issues within a few weeks, a reputable breeder with ethics would not let animals go without being well started.

Thank you for the link. I already have tubs ready. The pot I did not know about. This will be very useful and easy to follow.

I know he shouldn't have let the 4 go. He said he was making room for new projects but it didn't click that they were newborn until I asked how many sheds and if they ate or we're just offered food. I hope things go well for them and they won't be too difficult.

It says something about the seller to sell hatchlings that have not fed prior to sale, especially without disclosing it.
