    Temperature for rack.
    Good evening!

I just had question about the rack I just got from C-Serpents.
I have herpstat thermostat hooked to the rack, and ran for about 3 hours.
What I noticed was the temperature on hot side had really high temperature. So I was wondering, since I am using reptile prime substrate, could substrate trap the heat at the bottom of the tub and make the temperature raise higher than normal?
I pushed out some substrate away from hot side for now, but wanted to ask if anyone knows how substrate should be on hot side. Maybe I had it too thick? I don't know.
My room temp stays around 78 ish and thermostat set to 92 at this moment. Anyone have the same experience to mine? and have any tips for setting up perfect temp?

    Thank you.

addition to that, my top shelf reads 90 at the bottom of the tub, middle shelf at 94 degrees. Is this normal?

Maybe turning down your thermostat to 89 be ideal, 94 sounds to hot, hopefully someone with more experience will chime. Sorry I can not be more helpful.
