Help sexing a young Kenyan Sand Boa
So, I bought a hatchling Kenyan Sand Boa from an expo back in March at 11 grams. At the show, the breeder didn't have his small set of probes (only ones for the BPs he had, I think), so he couldn't sex such a small snake. I've been looking at pictures to try tail sexing, but I have no idea. Every picture I see with a comparison makes me change my mind again. I'm not trying to breed or anything, I just want to know for myself.

Anyone think they could help me out?
I'll post a few pictures below. S/he is now 25 or so grams, if the weight makes a difference.

The vent is near the top edge of the 3rd orange stripe from the tip of his tail. Not sure if a top view shot helps for this.

And underside pictures with different lighting.

I have the same questions about my new baby. I think she's a female based on her tail, but... I also change my mind every time I look!

The first under belly shot of yours makes me think male, but the second makes me think female. So I'm absolutely useless here but interested to see what everyone thinks!

    Thanks for chiming in Deborah!

I saw both of those sites before and from the underside, my boa looks more like the male I think in about 60% of photos I've taken, but the top view looks more female to me...
I tried popping him/her, but I'm not super comfortable with how much pressure is safe, so I either got a female or didn't do it quite right or with too little pressure, since I didn't want to do any damage.

Here's a shot from above from a length measurement pic, if that's any better... the top edge of the 3rd orange band is where the vent is.

I feel like I need a 3rd party for this since I've been hoping s/he is female and I'm not sure if I'm being objective about it.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...becc7e1995.jpg

Visually to me it's female, there are species I only go by visual when it comes to sexing and they are sand boas and hognose.
