Getting started selling.

I've been going now for a few years and my second clutch has hatched. Where is a good place to start selling? I've tried Craigslist and I'm working on a morphmarketat account at the moment.

Also, my new clutch is from a clown x butter hypo. How do I get an idea of a fair price when there really aren't that many double Het with butter or lesser. I know I've read to sell them for what I think they are worth, I just don't want to undercut myself and get far less than what they should be worth.

They are at best, butter het hypo het clown... so probably not worth as much as you think unfortunately. There are alot of hypo clowns around and hets as well, and considering this most people are gonna just pay extra for a visual. Still, morph market is your best bet and as far as price goes, just look for something similar to get a feel for it.

Trying to sell hets on Craigslist is not going to be worth the aggravation in my OP (too many tire kickers). I list on CL from time to time but mostly single gene animals or lower end price-wise animals. I would stick to Morphmarket and look for some of the classified groups on Facebook as well. Just FYI, it is probably in your best interest to have pics of the lock between the parents and also of the female on eggs etc. Due to scammers etc it is hard enough to sell anything het these days until you build your reputation. As for pricing I agree to look on Morphmarket for comparable animals to get an idea of fair price. Also there is a FB page out there that you can post your animal on and people will give values (Ball Python Values? or something along those lines). Good luck! :gj:
