Re: Crapy sheding
You can use the search function on the site to find tons of info on shedding.
Personally I like to use humid hides during shed time....but there are many ways to deal with a slight shedding problem....

Re: Crapy shedding
A bad shed isn't an urgent and dire emergency. Please try to relax a little. People will respond if you give them a chance, and if it's that urgent then you may need to contact a vet. Please remember to have patience, and good luck with getting the remainder of the shed off. There's lots of information on this site, and welcome. :D

Re: Poor shedding
I used a humid-hide when my BP had the same problem. It is a ziploc container (not bag) with a hole cut in the side with wet paper towels in it. The edges of the hole are melted round with a soldering iron. He had skin on his head for a week or two, so I tried soaking him- but he hated that. Then I put in the humid hide and he got all the skin off over night.
