    male wraping water bowl
so i have a four year old normal ball python. I believed him to be male, but recently he has been wrapping his water bowl? I know this is something that females do before they lay their eggs so i'm wondering if it's possibly a female about to lay a clutch of slugs? or did i just catch him doing something weird cause he's a weird snake? thanks!

They will wrap a water bowl when they are too hot.

First I would re-sex the snake to make sure.

Second it is possible that the animal is to hot or ate a meal to big in which case a male can be seen doing this.
