Herpstat question!
I saved up a little money and I’m going to invest in a herpstat instead of my jumpstart thermostats and I was told to check out spyderrobotics.com and I checked it out and didn’t realize there were so many versions of them! So long story short I just want to know which one would work best for me and my bp, she’s in a 40 gallon breeder with a Che and a uth

The basic model will be fine for a single enclosure. I prefer the one with a digital face over dials, but I trust their quality either way.

You'll need at least the Herpstat EZ2 because you have 2 heat sources, for a little more money you can get the Herpstat 2.
If you ever think you'll get another snake, I would get the Herpstat 4 instead. This one has 4 probes.

Since you have two heat sources, I recommend getting one of the models with two outlets. Herpstat2(digital) or Herpstat EZ2(analog) should be fine for what you need.

I don’t think it’s an “if” anymore I’ve been looking at so many cool morphs and now I have my heart set on a pied or albino pied in the future so maybe I’ll just spend the extra cash and get the herpstat four juuuust in case lol

I have 2 and use a herpstat 6. They use 3 of the 6 probes so far. But there is more i can automate i am sure.
