Herpstat compatible with human heating mat
Hi, the subject is meant to be a question...but I wasn't allowed to edit the subject.

I'm about to purchase Herpstat to replace my JumpStart. Was wondering if it would work with a human heating mat that has low, medium and high settings and has no auto shutoff. I've been able to successfully control the floor temperature between 83 to 88 using the combination of the heating mat and JumpStart (I set the heating mat on low permanently). I just don't like the temperature range of +3ish and -3ish. Thank you.

Human heating pad are not meant to run 24/7 whether you are using a t-stat or not, I would suggest you to start using the proper heating supply designed to that effect which will lower the risk of fire hazard.
