    Thermometer Help
So I'm currently using this AcuRite thermometer/hygrometer:

    https://www.amazon.com/AcuRite-Therm...+with+Humidity

I'm finally getting around to purchasing a temp gun (yes I know I should have had it sooner but at least I'm doing it now) and I've decided I might want a different thermometer. With the single one I have I'm only monitoring the temp on 1 side of the tank. So I'm looking at maybe this:

    https://www.amazon.com/VADIV-Thermom...+outdoor&psc=1

    Anyone know if it's reliable?

Also, does anyone have any reliable thermometer recommendations from Amazon for under $15? I was wanting an AcuRite thermometer/hygrometer with a sensor so I could monitor both sides, but they're sold out.

And does anyone know what realistic-looking hides on Amazon would be big enough for a BP? He's about 3 feet long, but I know BPs can curl up quite a bit. I'm currently using upside-down flimsy plastic dollar store bowls, and my BP seems to love scooting them everywhere and lifting them up, so I'm hoping to find a heavier one.

Nevermind, just bought hides today. And I'm thinking I'll go with this one, seeing that AcuRite is widely trusted

That one is great actually, I use those. However, be aware that there is some super sticky tape on the end of the probe. I remove the tape from mine and hot glue gun it, or just let it dangle without any tape

I'm glad to hear it works well! I'll definitely go with that one. And thank you for reminding me about the tape, I forgot that would pose a risk. I'll be sure to remove it. Just wondering, do you have the probe stuck to the side, or is it under your substrate?

I have 1 hot glued to the side of the tank like an inch or 2 above the substrate, on the other tank it dangles like an inch or 2 above it
