    Low price incubator for bp eggs and leopard geckos
    I’m looking for a small and affordable incubator for leopard gheco eggs and ball pythons eggs in the future. Any recommendations? It’s oretty small scale. Only going to have one clutch.

    I was given a cooler with a piece of heat tape in the bottom and a hole drilled for the tstat probe just get something to elevate the tub

    Cheapest option is to build one out of a cooler. It's so easy, just look up videos on youtube. All you need is a cooler, small piece of heat tape and a thermostat. If you don't have a thermostat to use, that is the one thing that may cost you a little money. I chose to use a herpstat because it isn't an on/off style tstat like the cheaper ones, it regulates the temp within .1 degree so there is very little fluctuation in temps.

    I agree, with the addition of one item. You will need to add a small computer fan to the incubator for air circulation. To avoid hot spots which will cause temperature problems.

    This isn’t necessary in a small cooler made for just one clutch. I agree in the taller glass door type incubators a fan is a good idea and mine has one as well.
