    He loves to explore!
I’ve had Sunny (0.1 coral glow) since mid April and have so far had good success with him. Started him out in a small tub, he ate F/T for the first time for me without any issues, has yet to miss a feed and switched to Rat Fuzzies without any issues. He has also had a successful full shed. He has been in a tank we got him (so my wife and i could better enjoy him) now for 2 weeks and adjusted nicely as well.

When ever he hears one of us enter the room he pokes his head out of the hide and if we approach the tank he will come out and say hi. Since this is my first Snake and I’ve always had a minor fear of them, we are getting use to each other at a nice steady pace. I try to handle him a couple times a week and will often let him out on my computer desk so he can explore. He likes to explore and seems to be very comfortable at being handled.

When I was putting him back into his enclosure, he turned his head towards my palm (I was get a little tense even though I know his bite this young is no worse than a mosquito bite...but still haha) he slowly opened his mouth and kinda acted like a puppy in the teething stage. It was the gentlest attempt at a bite if you can call it that. I just sat him down and was like goof haha. Most likely hungry as it is his day to feed later today.

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the help you have given me!

I love it when snakes realize their mistake before actually chomping our hands...you can't count on that but it's so cute when it happens.

Snakes feel our vibrations when we enter a room: they cannot "hear" us, as they have no ears. My Aussie spotted python is very alert that way too.

I’m a first time BP owner too! Apollo loved to explore, he tries to get into places that are hard to get him out of though!
