    Absolutely in love
Me and my wife did a lot of research on ball pythons before diving in. When we felt like we were ready we got this little one, and I am absolutely in love. You can say I caught the bug because now I want more. After a month of waiting, we finally took a chance on handling him. So let me introduce Lestat. The first pic is when we got him home.

Thanks, I know a hatchling isn’t the best way to go for a beginner. I also love tarantulas and know the commitment it takes to raise them from slings. I have done heavy research on raising hatching bp’s, I know I will run into unexpected things and when I do you can bet I’ll ask for help.

And should you "recover" from an addiction to one kind of snake, rest assured you have MANY more kinds to go, hahahahaha! :snake: :snake2: :snake: :snake2:
    Welcome! :D

I know how addictive it can be, I’m already looking to get a spider morph from myself and my wife loves the butter morph.

    Beautiful slithersome little guy. Congrats!

Me and my wife also just have ours for just about a month now and handled him for the first time today! He was so scared (we were a bit nervous as well but tried our best to keep calm). After 10 mins of having him out we gently put him back in- letting him crawl off my hand into his home.

I wanted to wait till he took his third meal with us this coming Saturday night but couldn't wait

I really hope it wasn't too stressful of an experience and that he takes his next meal.

    Cheers and good luck!
