    Retics dining on guinea pigs?
    Pros and con?

Not going to be placing an order for a few months but was wondering since in my area at least rabbit kits are impossible to get an none of mine are ready to handle a 1lb rabbit from rodent pro or Layne labs...I've checked monster feeder he gets them on rare occasions...

RodentPro also sales them , I never used them so might want to check reviews, Ceaser eats guinea pigs, and I heard of other people giving them so I can not see a problem with it but since I never owned a retic it is just heresay;) best luck with those two beauties:D

Guinea pigs have more fat than rats and rabbits but pythons can handle them fine. I feed Caesar guinea pigs but i also feed him rats, quails and rabbits. I wouldnt feed guinea pigs to a boa though as they dont handle the fat as well.

What is your feeding schedule for Caesar?
I'm feeding Dva an Moira every 7 days.
    Dva is over 5ft
    Moira at 4ft.

When Caesar was a baby, he was eating every 5-7 days. Then after about a year, he went to every 10 days. That has been the farthest out i can push him without him just destroying his face. I tried 14 days once when he was younger and he pushed so bad, he split his pits and lip and had a partially swollen lip on one side. Now though that he is just over 2 years old, i think i can push him out to 14 days as he seems to have mellowed out on food. And i think a lot of his pushing was also wanting a girlfriend which has now subsided.
