Good Rack Substrate
With my soon-to-be upgrade to a rack instead of just a tub for Paarthurnax (and a soon to be second, i managed to get the bug!) I wanted to switch from paper towels (other than for QT), to a more proper substrate, and was curious, what do most of you recommend? I was thinking maybe reptile prime, but i know there are plenty of options to choose from.

Re: Good Rack Substrate
If you're willing to pay for reptile prime then go ahead. I don't see the point in paying way too much money for something like that though. But maybe im just saying that because i have 11 snakes, and the substrate cost adds up pretty fast. I prefer aspen, cheap, easy to clean, but it does mold if you wet it too much. There's also coconut chips, coconut fiber, cypress, and even peat moss if you use it right. It all comes down too preference, and what gets your enclosure to the proper humidity.

I was probably gonna go with some sort of coco substrate, reptile prime was just one option.
