    Female Ball Python Poll
    Hi Everyone!

Hope you all are having a lovely day.

As a lot of you know, I recently got my first BP. She is a female, so probably going to be on the bigger side.

I want to do a poll on everyone's FEMALE ball pythons and see how long your adults are! Kind of like seeing the average length.

Kind of curious as to how big she is going to get..already 2 feet at around 8 months!

Congratulations on your first Ball Python! :-) I only have one adult female and she's aprox. 1/2 in. short of 5 ft. @ 4 yrs. of age. It will be interesting to see how this compares to females belonging to other owners, I know there are some BIG girls out there!

Thank you! :) I'm very excited to see her future length!

Do you happen to know how many years BPs grow?

Snakes grow their entire lives. They just slow down drastically at a certain point. Their growth is actually measured in cm/year because the growth is so slow as adults

Craigfrechette, man, you are a wealth of information. I've only been on here a little while, but thank you for sharing this plethora of knowledge with us. you are always teaching me something new.

I'm the kind of person who reads for half a year before getting a new pet, and I still never read anything about size/measurement like that.

Like mentioned, snakes grow their whole lives but most slow down at the 2-3 year old mark.

With that said, Dottie the pied is about 4.5 feet or so at about 4.5 years old.
