    not a morning snake
Dandylion is such a moody girl. Last time I cleaned her cage she hissed at me, and she did it one other time as well. I just realized both times she hissed at me were during the day. She never hisses at me at night. :confuse: Does anyone else have bps that don't like their beauty rest disturbed? She such a funny girl.

Since bp's are nocturnal I'm not suprised that your snake has gotten huffy durring the day :P I try not to disturb my bp rack much at all during the daylight hours exccept for an occasional late afternoon walk to give them some natural sunlight. Oh and on the weekends there isn't much of a choice as a good portion of one of the weekend days has to be used for cleaning which I'd rather not do in the dark :P Durring the week water changes and handling are done in the early evening usually when I see them start to move around.

Kyna doesn't like her beauty rest disturbed either Christie. She rarely bothers to hiss but occasionally gives me this long drawn out hissy sigh sort of sound that I'm pretty sure is a rude word in ball python language LOL.

I just thought it was kinda funny that it took me that long to figure it out. :stupidme: She still my more timid snake, and I swear she'll be the one to intiate me into the world of bitees. She is just a more aggressive feeder and a tad moody. Just gotta make sure I mind my p's and q's when I need to disturb her. I think she was also due to shed, so maybe that added to her stress. Poor thing. I hate to tell her to suck it up, but she's just gonna have to deal, unless she wants to live in a nasty dirty cage. I only have brief moments of opportunity that I can clean. It's so much easier when the kids are at school. *sigh*
