Thermostat and Thermometer probe placement for PVC Caging

So recently, I finally caved in and bought Paarthurnax an Animal Plastics T-8, and am waiting to hear back from them for the shipping. Now as i was sitting here, i realised i would need to figure out how to set a thermostat probe for a RHP inside the cage, as well as one for my digital indoor/outdoor thermometer. I was curious, how do most of you PVC Cage people have yours set up to track temps? Probably good to figure it out now and plan while im on the multi-month waiting list.
