So 86 ambient isn't too hot if I take away other heat sources? It's only May and it was 88 degrees outside Today, and in trying to cool my appartment down desperately, but it keeps climbing back

I personally wouldn’t be to concerned with an 86 degree ambient temp. Like the others have mentioned you could always run a fan. But you should be just fine in my opinion. Hope that helps.
