Burrowing and weight...

Hi all.
Is there a specific reason for a BP to burrow? Or do they just do it to do it?

Mia has taken to burrowing and balling up under her substrate. Never did this before so just curious.

Also she is now 153 g. :)

I feel that sometimes it just makes them feel more srcure. My guy likes to go underneath his paper towels and tear up the whole enclosure now and again
