Finally making progress... Kinda of lol
:cens0r:got off my a$$ an installed heatpanel for 6 ft cage for GC female ...been running it for 2 days or so testing temp..
    Here's we're I'm at...

So I'm using a pro product heat panel with a herpstat thermostat..
Have it set at 85 degrees running the herpstat at 80% power .
Getting floor temp at 87/88 on top of hide box 90/91 cool side is 74/76 .. cool side is about 2-3 degrees hotter than overall room temp.
Humidity is upper 70% an I haven't made any vent holes on either side except for the hole (7/8) for panel cord an probe cord...

    Any suggestions?
Aiming for 87-89!hot side an 72-76 cool side with humidity in upper to mid 60's...

Actually those temps and humidity look good to me. If you want to lower it, then make more vent holes to increase the air flow.

And personally, i would ditch the piece of duct tape you got on the probe and use something like a cable clamp screwed into the back wall. A piece of tape stuck on a snake is not going to be fun to remove.

Tape is only temporary . I plan to zip tie probe cable to panel cable on outside of cage to keep retic from dragging probe around cage....

    Let the probe hang free.

If its off the floor and not up against anything you can let it hang.

You want to measure the air temp and not the side of the cage temp or anything that absorbs heat.

    Let it dangle free!

    Update...
This morning I moved probe so that it dangles more under the panel itself not held up against the wall I'll secure it so it's not dragged before snake is Put in..
Set temp to 84 at 80% came home with floor temp 87/86 an hide box top was at 90 cool side 73/74 with room temp at 72 humidity dropped down to 61 from 69 in a 9 hr period...

Long story short.... I increased temp to 84.5 I think that might be the sweet spot hopefully have my GC in their Sunday evening...

You ever had issues with your GC having shedding issues. Been reading about a lot of guys with GC that have issues with shedding, even when kept with high humidity.
