To those of you with rack system
    Hello,

I am planning to order a rack system for the first time. I had a question before I order. My ball pythons are not fully grown yet, and they are female and male.
Basic rule of thumb I heard is, females go into 41qt/V-70 tubs, and males one size below that. However, do any of you have adult females in the size right below V-70? it seems to be called sub-adult rack, description says up to 2000g ball pythons. It is a hard decision because I feel like V-70 is going to be too big for my males, especially when he doesn't grow fast.
Is it going to be safe to just order 41qt/V-70 and provide some hides for males? or can females live their life in sub-adult racks?

    Thank you.

I agree. I use the v70 tubs for my adult females and wouldn't go smaller. I have some shy females that also want a hide in their tub, so you can definitely do this with a male, just put correctly sized reptile basics hides in both ends of the V70 tub and you're set.

Also of note: C-serpents has great racks btw and I've heard that AP racks are great too, but you have to buy the tubs separately for those. Both of my racks are C-serpents and I've been very happy with them.

Go with the V70-style rack. I have males that are only about 500g in 41q Sterilite and V70 tubs and they do just fine.
