    Small update on Smeagol
Update on little Smeagol [emoji4] He is now up 19 grams! I got him at 11 grams.

He shed for me for the third time just yesterday. Caught him removing the last bit off of his arm. He still loves those Dubias, so I feed the roaches only the best food, gut load them with Crested Gecko diet and dust them well with calcium and vitamin D.

He will eat the CGD but not close to as enthusiastic as his bugs. He continues to be very outgoing, demanding to come out of the cage every night.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e3d31a1fe4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0088a87de5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ff487e6c95.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8622ca0a8d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0499891cac.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b17138af56.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c88c5a4a6b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...4c104168b2.jpg

The cuteness is killing me. I've watched the video where he jumps into your hand to be transported to the bugs way too many times.

He must be chowing down on the dubia! Make him eat his "veggies" and not just dessert! :P

He does..LOL. But not as happy as with the Dubias. He actually only eats between 3 to 4 Dubias when he does (size of distance between his eyes) but I guess they are filling, LOL. I even put a big dab of Repashy on each dusted Dubias back [emoji1]

He is. Like living with a 2 year old that has the attitude of a teenager.

    LOL

But totally cute nonetheless !! :)

The funniest (rotten) thing was when he pooped into his Gecko food !! And once he managed to get the dish out of the holder and throw it on the ground. The rotten-ness

The days when he doesn't get bugs, you'd think you live with a angry teenager. He sees me sitting on the computer so he will first sit nicely and wait on the elevator (my hand) when it doesn't come he starts jumping here and there. Ending up right where the door opens. STARING at me. Then trying the other side of the door. Sticking to it, right side up, upside down.

More jumping, more begging, more demanding.

Finally, finally he will go up to the ledge and quickly and rather angrily eat some Repashy.

    LOL.

I've got a character there, sigh.

But when he gets to come out to the Dubias, he is the sweetest and most polite little thing. Will sit and wait nicely, and then jump or walk on the hand and wait to be lowered into the pit. He still isn't great at hunting and misses most times, and the roaches are SO smart. They play dead. And then he won't even try.

He is all kinds of special, that Gecko ! ;)

Well, all these adorable Crestie pics are certainly NOT helping with me resisting the temptation to get one.

On the other hand, now that my bathroom remodel is complete, I need to get my butt in gear for the rest of my space reorganization project so I can make room for another rack and a Crestie habitat/enclosure.
