    High Scale Enclosures?
    I just ordered 3 of the 48"L x 18"D x 18"H and 6 of the 24"L x 18"D x 12"H

Anyone have experience with them? They look like good quality and would make a nice snake room.

personally i would have researched them and asked for feedback before spending hundreds (if not over a thousand dollars) on new enclosures.

anyway the enclosures are made of wood and glass, so expect more weight. also i would think at some point down the road, you would have to re-finish the the wood w/ new sealant/finishing esp. the interior.

I think you are correct on the re-finishing later. I ordered them because everything I have read so far was good about them. Was a second thought to post here. Thank you for taking the time to give me your opinion though.

They sure look like beautiful cages. I’m sure you will be pleased.

I love the the beauty of wood products. But I am not into or good at wood maintenance. I am not happy with my melamine cage either, waaay too heavy. That’s why PVC is perfect for me.

    It’s all about choices.

    Enjoy!

I still have some in glass tanks so will be an improvement. I go to pick them up (5 hour drive) Monday. Once I purchase my new house they will not be moved much so will be ok.

    Thanks.

How do you like the High Scale enclosures? I saw them at a reptile show in Austin this past weekend and they looked really nice, albeit heavy.

A little heavy compared to AP cages. Love the natural looks though. I'll let you know what I think about longevity and any issues that arise. So far it's a good experience. The tracks the glasses in is really tight fit so it would be difficult to remove them.
