    Happy World Book Day!
i can't let the day end w/o wishing everyone a Happy World Book Day!

i think someone mentioned somewhere about starting a BP.net book club. does it sound like a good idea to u? let's see if this idea will pan out and let's start a discussion about your favorite books, recommendations, etc.

full disclosure: i don't really read much anymore in terms of literature (aka books). i don't even like reading super-long threads and posts lol. i mainly read blogs, periodicals and news articles BUT i can make a commitment to read if we are all in it together!

    anyway my favorite books include:
The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin - the first book i read almost all the way through and couldn't put down. it's a whodunnit?! i only took me like 3 days to finish.

The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down by Anne Fadiman - a medical anthropology i read in college. 352 pages!! i've read it twice again since FOR FUN!!

Wonder Boys by Michael Chabon - smart and funny, a real and surreal adventure in life and academia.

The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri - there's a lot more complexity and moving parts to the novel vs the film. a deep, beautiful and moving story.

TL;DR : yay books! yay reading!

Who knew?! Happy World Book Day to all!

    Reading is fundamental.
    Leaders are readers.

I’ll bite, I’m a fan of reading. Maybe a Tom Clancy and Dean Koontz kind of guy, but yes I truly enjoy it. Happy World Book Day!

Dean Koontz is my favorite for sure. :)

I’ll probably get shunned for saying this, but I just could not get into Tom Clancy. His style really turned my off. Maybe I picked the wrong book to introduce him to me. But it just didn’t work for my simple brain.

World Book Day?!?!? How did I not know of this before?!!

Well... I have a laundry list of favorite books/authors, but here are a few authors:

Erin Hunter, (Don't judge me XP)
    Carolyn Keene, (Nancy Drew)
    R.L. Stine,
    Katie Alender,

These are only the few four, but I love them all! <3
