Personally I don't see a massive problem with moving one day from the feeding day. Not if you're talking a healthy, well established, good feeding response snake. Maybe I'm wrong here but geesh these snakes in the wild don't eat on the same day every week, heck I doubt they manage to eat every week!
Sure it's good to stay on schedule and a lot of change might stress the snake out if it kept happening over and over but one day of one week I don't think is a major deal.
As far as freezing, I would assume that like any frozen "meat" as long as the article is properly packaged (no air in the package, heavy freezer class plastic not just a cheapo zip loc baggie, consistently hard frozen state without thawing and refreezing) that it would last at least 6 months plus. Is there any study out there that long term freezing does any damage or causes a degradation of the quality of the prey item?

I think Im going to try frozen on Thursday. If she doesn't eat I can always try on the weekend.
