I think my baby girl had a great shed - right?

My baby girl BP just completed her first shed process with me! I found two big pieces of skin! There’s two very small - maybe half the size of a dime or less - of skin on her upon inspection. And she left me a massive poop present too. This is all good news right? :)

Could be worse and could be better. Ideally, you want a full one piece shed rolled up like a sock but like i said, could be a lot worse. Or in the case of my GTP, he gives me perfect copies of himself around every month.

Sounds like a pretty good first shed. Nothing to worry about.

However, now you can start the process of a perfect next shed. Remember, a perfect shed starts now, with proper husbandry. Don't just wait until you see the pink belly or eyes go blue to boost humidity. The shed process starts as soon as the old skin is shed, therefore, proper husbandry from day one will get you a perfect shed next time. :gj:

I've had plenty of sheds through the years and I still get that proud Poppa feeling every time my snakes have perfect sheds :D
