Well, today I flipped on the light and a little German roach scuttled across her substrate! I scooped it out lickety split. I'm sure they can feel the vibration of bugs, depending on the size. She wouldn't be scared of a roach though, she could possibly be heading into shed if she's hiding and not coming out.

Ball pythons can be found in termite mounds in Africa. I would think if bugs bothered them, that would be an absolute nightmare for them...
